Forearm question.?

How many reps are ideal to building the forearms up with wrist curls. I can do 15+ reps for 3 sets with a 20lb dumbbell, but to increase the weight I have to use custom hand bars that you add plates, and it's harder on my wrists to, because I have to stretch my arm out more because the plate holder bars get caught on the bench. If that makes sense. Should I stick with the 20lb dumbbell till I can do at least 20+ reps for 3-4 sets? Also I usually do these everyday, but I don't do any other exercises, except preacher curls, and benching every other few days. Sorry for the long question.

Do not work out any muscle every day. Take atleast two days off. Why dont you just buy some 25 or 30lb dumbells?
