Question by jtakyi56: Is it recommendable to do Insanity Upper Weight Training three times a week with a rest day in between days?
I have two weeks to go in my Insanity program and I'm thinking about creating my own routine and adding a bit of weight training to the regimen. I saw that Shaun T has a weight training option on the program and was thinking of trying it out. I know that weight training a certain muscle group can't be done but once a week, but judging from some clips I see it works the entire upper body. For those who actually worked out with the dvd or at least saw the workouts, can you recommend doing it three times a week with a rest day in between?

At the end of the upper body weight workout, Shaun T tells you that you can do the DVD two to three times a week. I had the same concerns as you but if you add a rest day in between, I am sure you will be fine.
