i have this, harness / corset thingie, its really really tight on me, and i heard some where that they help you feel fuller faster and it trains your stomach to take the shape of the harness if you wear it 24/7. So, i have been. its pretty uncomfortable but if it really does all that then i think its worth it.
i was wondering if any of what i've heard is true? or if there are any risks i need to know about?
Best answer:
I doubt it's a good method. I wouldn't do it if I were you. Corsets used to cause damage to women when they used them a long time ago. And they didn't wear them to lose weight. I've never heard of that. Harnesses or corsets don't come near your stomach--your stomach is on the inside and holding your skin in isn't going to help that much. It won't shape your body to wear it, it'll just hold it in while you're wearing it. Sounds made up. If you want to lose weight, diet and exercise. I know it's cliche but it works. Plus I would hate to wear something around that's so uncomfortable. That just sounds painful, not productive.
