With all that troubled history, as an elderly woman at the outset of Boris Malagurski's documentary explains, "it's not easy to say, what Yugoslavia is." The Weight of Chains is Malagurski's attempt to clarify the complexity of the Yugoslavian identity by contextualizing and exposing the reality of the Yugoslav Wars and their aftermath. His sympathies lie with the wronged citizens of each country, born out of the division of the former republic. Using some terrific archive footage and the testimony of a number of reputable experts, the film traces the fragmentation and separation of Yugoslavia. Malagurski effectively conveys the confusion of the time and, with a biting wit, suggests that nobody is blameless in the escalation of violence. The documentary ultimately appears to be about the "predatory capitalism" that the US and the EU practiced on the Yugoslavian people. Malagurski uses this term and its implications to expose the reality of 21st century colonialism and its cost.

Question by nekochan52: Is there any sort of "Weight Watchers" or "Curves" for teenagers?
I live in the South Jersey Area - does anyone know of a national chain of teen weight loss centers? If not, does anyone know of any specific to the South Jersey Area?
Edit: Thanks for the encouragement - I'm 17 and can drive myself places, so none of that is an issue.
Also Edit: My doctor has already encouraged me to lose weight

Best answer:
The range of "teen" is so wide, you could be talking about as young as 13 or as old as 19 - the difference is phenomenal. If you are under the age of 18, I would consult a medical doctor/nutritionist if you want to lose weight. There are a lot of implications to weight loss in early teenage years because you are still growing, and cutting calories/nutrients can affect your health and overall well being in your later years.

I'm in college, and I know a lot of people who do WeightWatchers. It's not necessarily for older people (as some assume), and it's easy to use the system and still eat like a normal person. You don't have to rush home and eat a frozen meal that they delivered to you, you can still go out to restaurants with friends and learn to make good choices. I would recommend that if you are looking to diet and are over 18.
