Performing cardio work with your heart rate at around 75% of its optimal speed promotes the best fat loss results. For an extra boost you can throw in the occasional interval level training plan, 75% heart rate for 3 minutes followed by the maximum for 1 minute and repeated for as long as is deemed required.
Obviously, a healthy diet and regular eating regime is needed to get the best out of your efforts, including keeping the consumed calories within a respectable range based on weight and exercise levels, but also remembering that there is always room of a cup of coffee and a cookie with friends.
