i live in seattle and its never been this hot during the summer (last year's summer i wore jackets) so no one has AC in their house.
its been so hot this summer specially in the house. i've opened windows and doors and i have fans everywhere but everyone is still sweating (and the dogs are panting; 2 Pomeranian and an over weight long haired dachshund.)
its been so hot that the kids at home wake up at 6am-ish
is there ANYTHING we can do to cool ourselves and the dogs up? i really do not want to have a miserable summer.
the funny part is that im with my bestfriends family that lives in seattle i AM from florida, key west to be exact!
and btw i already have a window fan.. but all it does is blow hot air

its unseasonably cool here. usually its over 100 here this time of year. anyway here is an idea I heard about. take some empty pop bottles and fill them with water. freeze them. then set them behind a fan.
