How much weight did you gain during your pregnancy?

Question by Loving the J*StaR: How much weight did you gain during your pregnancy?
I know that for most women doctor's recommend gaining somewhere between 20-30 lbs. Almost everyone I know has said that they gained more than that. I'm just starting to get a little down on myself since I've already gained about 30 lbs and still have 2 months left. I just want to hear about other women's experiences and weight gain.

Best answer:
First of all, you're fine. Stop worrying. Unless your doctor raises a concern about it, it's ok. With my first, I gained about 30lbs. Same with the next 2. Then, with my fourth, I gained only 10lbs in total ... and for weeks when I went to get weighed, I actually lost weight. Sometimes this is of concern, but I was eating healthy and the baby was growing and when my son eventually was born he weighed in at 9lbs 3oz. There is a wide range of "normal" and you are just fine.
