Question by : How much do I benefit from wearing a 20lb weight vest 14 hours a day?
I'm 5'5 and weigh about 137 lbs. Do I gain anything from sitting down with my weight vest? Or walking with it?! I can't run with it because it bounces on my shoulders... will this vest help me build muscles for my legs/arms/ and help me build stronger abs?! Or does it only help if I exercise.. like doing push-ups and chin-ups.

That's not good to carry extra weight around like that all the time. It's hard on your joints and can cause improper form exercising to compensate for the unnatural weight. Basically you are making your body work as if you were that much heavier. If you want to build stronger muscles, do strength training exercises or lift weights. It's more effective.
