someone know any 3 day workout routines?

Question by james m: someone know any 3 day workout routines?
inlcuding.
flat bench pressing. weighted pullups/ chinups as i have a dipping belt.
and military press, these are the 3 i will always use. can anyone find me a workout that is for monday wednesday and friday using these and other exercises.???

Best answer:
you could probably just do all those in one day, and rest your upper body for the next. i dont think you need to look at it so technically. just get in there and work out and break down those muscles. you should work out more areas in your upper body than that tho.

Substitute gym weights or the gym waits

Article by James Murrey

When you don't have access to gym weights don't let the gym wait. Substitute your bodyweight for the gym weights and you can still get the workout you desire.

Firstly, what is bodyweight training? Any exercise that requires you to entirely support and move your own body weight. So what exercises could be classed as body weight exercises? The two that would spring to mind for most people are push ups and chin ups.

There are also:

dips

bench dips

chest pulls or body weight rows

hand stand dips

squats

lunges

calf raises

sit ups

leg lifts

back arches

One that almost everyone will overlook is running. Running sits under the umbrella of bodyweight training because you are entirely supporting and moving your own body weight. Comparatively, when swimming or cycling you do not have to support and move your entire weight because another medium is supporting much of your body.

The beauty of bodyweight training is that it covers both aerobic and anaerobic exercises. It is possible therefore to train for weight loss, maintainance and gain while concurrently improving strength and endurance.

Weight reduction

When the body consumes more calories than it expends weight loss is the result. Running is arguably the best weight loss program because it inexpensive, easy to do and burns a lot of calories. The anaerobic bodyweight exercises are more effective for building muscle. However, when several are employed in a circuit style program with minimal rest periods between sets, these exercises can also burn a lot of calories.

Muscle gain

Weight gain occurs when your body takes in more calories than it expends. There is good weight and bad weight. If you consume more calories than you expend but do no exercise then the weight will be in the form of fat. If you consume healthy food and strain your muscles so they grow, then the weight will be in the form of bigger, healthier muscles.

The obvious method for building strength and muscle is to lift gym weights. Progressively increasing the amount of weight being lifted during an exercise will force the body to grow to meet the demand. For someone who can't yet complete even one push up or chin up, their body weight acts like regular gym weights. Until such time that they can easily lift their bodyweight over numerous repetitions, their muscles will continue to grow to meet the demand.

Weight maintenance

Once you reach the stage where you can complete several repetitions of each body weight exercise, your muscle and size growth will begin to slow then stagnate. At this point you have three choices.

To maintain weight and size continue with the current bodyweight training and diet program

Increase your amount of aerobic body weight exercises and/or decrease the amount of food you eat: your body weight and size will decrease.

For increasing weight and size add extra weights to the body weight exercises - use weight belts or simply hold dumbells between legs during dips and chin ups. Also increase food consumption.
