bowling balls weight reduction?

Question by bird: bowling balls weight reduction?
just purchased a new ball and discovered it is a little too heavy for me as the games go on. how do i reduce the weight if possible w/o having to go out and get another ball. it's a 15lbs'r.

Best answer:
You can't really. The pro-shop could drill the finger and thumb holes a little deeper, maybe even add a weight hole, but this will only take a few ounces out at most. If it really is too heavy, a new ball is your only option.
