Was pretty pleased with todays session. After revewng last weeks vids from this workout I made a couple of adjustments to the program that really showed up today. I added in some more warm up sets and focused alot more on not letting the weight sink in as much as I have the tendency to do. I also brought my grip in about an inch on each hand to protect my bum shoulder. The end result for bench was alot cleaner and well performed reps. comp grip bench 135x5x2 225x3 225x10 275x2 300x6 315x4 340x2 325x1 (full commands) 325x1 (soft touch) 255x9 Close grip incline 135x8 185x8 205x5 225x2+epic miss(just getting tired) floor press 135x10 225x5 275x3 225x6 Dips+pullups Short rest between sets BW 10/14 BW 10/13 BW 10/10 reverse grip kneeling pushdowns stackx10x3 lateral raise machine 10x4 Bringing my grip in a little bit on the benches really helped the low end control where my shoulder usually tries to give out on me. Had another rep in me at both 340 and 255 but I figured the reps would be pretty loose form wise so I just called it good on each respective set. I like following the planned weights with some light pause and command presses it reminds me how different the weight feels when you have to control it carefully the entire rep. I'll be taking tomorrow off before hitting my deads hard on tuesday. ..
