Question by : Can you use a weighted hula hoop to train your abs?
I'm using a 2lbs hoop and I'm 5'1" tall and weigh 100lbs. I know you need to do other exercises too but is this completely useless or does it help train your abs. I do it for 20 minutes a day at the moment (just started last week).

Hi,
Yes it is a very good way to train your abs and a good cardio exercise too. Try using a Swiss ball to do sit ups and other core stability exercises on, this will really tighten up the middle section too.
