I just started on weight watchers last week. I am not going to the meetings though as I have six kids, a full time job, in school full time and trying to find the time to exercise in there somewhere. I found weight watchers a great program. I lost 48lbs in 8 months, I did attend meetings though and used their e-tools religiously. I needed to know I was going to be held accountable with my weight each week to motivate me to follow the process regularly.
Even after stopping the program I still use their techniques and am able to maintain my weight loss but still enjoy my favorite foods.
