Is The Weighted Exercise Bar Right For You?
Article by Lynn Porter
If you are finally getting to a point where enough is enough and you want to get into shape once and for all, then you are going to have to spend a little time investigating what the weight exercise bar can do for you. Of course, you first need to know just what the weighted exercise bar is and how these weighted bars can help you. Many people will look at these bars and think that they are the same as the barbells that they have seen. Now, while there are some similarities between the two, there are some vast differences.Basically, a barbell is what it is. However, the weighted exercise bars will come in a color coated rubber that will indicate just how heavy they are. Generally, the weight resistance will range from six pounds to twenty pounds. Also, with the weighted bars, you are not going to be using face plates, which makes them a little more user friendly. After all, you will not have to worry about the plates falling off of the ends. For those that have not tried out the weighted exercise bar for themselves, you are going to want to do so. You will automatically see and feel the difference and like many people, you might find that the weight exercise bar is your new bar of choice. Now that you are ready to get started with the use of the weighted bars in your exercise routine, you are going to want to come up with some workout routines that you can really get into. For example, with the squat sequence, you will be able to work a few different groups of muscles all at the same time. The shoulders, biceps, hamstrings, quadriceps and glut muscles will all get a very decent workout. Then there is the lunge and row that many people have found to be both fun and beneficial. This weighted exercise bar exercise will work out the upper back muscles, the quadriceps, hamstrings and gluts. It doesn't stop there though as there is also the ab combo and the bar bridge that you might want to try out with the use of the weighted bars. With the bar bridge, you are working out the entire core, along with the hamstrings and the glut muscles. Of course, this is an exercise that is not best for those who are already very strong as it might not provide enough of a challenge. The ab combo is another to try and it works out the abs like nothing else. Now, for this exercise, you are going to make use of two bars.As you can see, there is a lot to look forward to with the use of the weighted exercise bars. So find some for yourself now and get started on the new exercises!
