however, you can vary the types of pushups
1)clapping pushups - more explosive, more emphasis on bigger muscles than the other types
2)generic pushups - remember, you should be able to balance something on your upper back if you have correct form
3) knuckle pushups - make sure your wrists are placed vertically (fingers perpendicular to ribs) and close to your body
4) dragon pushups - kind of a rolling thing, hard to explain, look it up (they may also be attributed to bruce lee, so look for bruce lee pushups or something)
5)mountain climber/spiderman pushups - in pushup position, raise one knee to side of body, do pushup, switch
6) easy pushups - same generic form, but knees touching ground (commonly referred to as girl pushups) try burning out on these, they focus on tone
7) elevated pushups - same form, but feet are elevated on something like a box or platform or chair or something. these also emphasize bigger chest better than the rest
