Casting a Lead Weight for a Locomotive Project

Some of the N Scale (1:160) locomotive projects I am working on require additional mass over the drivers so they will perform on the track properly and pull as many cars as they can. I had been struggling with a process until a friend of mine, Lee, suggested I use a two-part epoxy paste. When I read the spec sheet, sure enough, the product can withstand the 600+ degree molten lead. I threaw in the sand so I wouldn't use as much epoxy and to withstand even more heat.
