adjusting the weight on a turntables tone-arm

adjusting the weight on a turntables tone-arm

This is a video showing you how to adjust the weight on the tone arm of a turntable, this is a very important process as it will determine the life of your vinyl. Please note that in the video I do this adjustment to a Technics turntable but this can be done on any vinyl turntable. Also something to bear in mind is that it doesn't matter what cartridges you're using, although it would be ideal to know the exact make and model of cartridge you have in order to easily obtain information about the weight specifications. The name of the record that i play in the video is "Dreadlock" by Future Prophecies. nice one!!!

Question by black reign: a question about my weight scales.....?
alright so i am a 21 yr old male. i have two scales. one digital and analogue or dial scale. i use them ot weigh myself. alright the digital scale which is a taylor lithium gives me 293 as my weight and the dial scale gives me 300 exact. it confuses me. which one do you think is the more accurate scale. and one mor thing ive been trying to lose weight recently. so i need approx 3500 to 4000 cals a day ot maintain my weight probably a little more, alright so i eat approx 2000 cals a day with excersise. since ive been doing this my digital scale says somedays that ive lost 2 to 3.5 pounds some days. is this possible?

Best answer:
Scales can be confusing sometimes. Maybe they are the same, but you weigh yourself at different times of the day? I don't really know how to help with that.
But 3400-4000 calories is definetly not healthy at all. That is way too much. The average male is supposed to eat 2500 calories a day. I suggest you eat 1200-1800 a day (Lessen your calories bit by bit every day). Cut out any junk food, soda, chips, fast food, etc. It will help a lot. Only eat home made food. Whenever you want something sweet, do not go for the junk food. Eat an apple or something. Eat more in the morning because you will burn it off throughout the day and you will not want to eat a lot throughout the night. Do not eat within 2 hours of when you want to sleep. Drink plenty of water and exercise 3 to 4 times every week at a gym.
Good luck!
