Diagonal Curl-up (mat and body weight) Young Adult Male
Lie down on an abdominal board or floor mat with your knees bent and your feet on the floor. Place your left ankle across your right knee to form a triangle. Place your right hand behind your neck and place your left hand on the mat for support. Curl your torso diagonally, bringing your right shoulder up toward your left knee. Keep your elbow pointed outward and resist the temptation to curl the elbow toward the knee. Once you have reached maximum contraction, pause briefly. Return to the starting position and repeat for the desired number of repetitions. Reverse body position and repeat for the other side.
