I am male, 24 years young, at 5 ft 9 inches. I am currently on a fat loss diet and exercise regimen. I have been doing this since May of 2011. When I started I weighed 240 pounds and now I weigh around 160 pounds. I typically do an hour of intense cycling as my exercise and I sometimes do strength training exercises. I usually get between 2 and 7 hours of cardio per week and anywhere from 11,000 to 15,000 calories per week. I also take a multi-vitamin supplement, a biotin supplement, and have a good omega 3 to omega 6 ratio of fatty acids aswell. I also maintain a low sodium diet.
Now that you see where im at and what I do, I can get down to my question. I noticed that for awhile now that I have a big intolerance to cold and I find that I sometimes need to put on a jacket just to go inside the grocery store. I always assumed this was because I was losing fat weight constantly but I figured why not ask on here? Is is normal to feel an intolerance to cold when you are on a fat loss regimen?
Best answer:
The fat you previously had was also used for insulation, so getting rid of some of that fat will reduce your resistance to cold, so yeah, I guess it's normal.
