How long do I have to jump rope to lose weight?

Question by : How long do I have to jump rope to lose weight?
If I jump rope everyday for 20 minutes for a week and eat around 1000 calories a day how much weight will I lose? I have hit a plateau in my weight loss and I want to try something new. Thank you!
