After being thrown in to an unfamiliar forest and conversing with what seemed like an understanably half sane local chanting about a child snatchign cult and a rock that could communicate to the dead, Snake wasn't in the best of mental states. The 'mother stone', the cultists supposedly called it, gave Snake an idea. If it could really allow someone to interact with the dead, maybe he could talk to Cynthia to apologise and make sense of his situation. But for now, he had a forest to explore. A beaten path, riddled with loose stone and claw like tree roots waiting to capture any oblivious fool stretched before him. It was dark, though Snake wasn't sure if it was night or day. Relying on reality's expectations would only trick the mind in this world. nature had clearly taken back any manipulation mankind once had here, trees filled the view entirely, only the sounds of the irregular could be heard in the distance, nothing about this place was welcoming. Snake was a loud disturbance in the forest, snapping brances, twigs and crunching leaves. He came to a run down entrance to an estate of buildings. He ran his hand across the plate ext to the door, brushing away the vines hiding text. 'Wish House Orphanage' was engraved in to the plate. Snake looked up at the building in front of him. "An orphanage? Could this be what that guy was stuttering about?" Snake pieced together that there was a cult who apparently abducted children around here, so an orphange in the middle of no ...
