Question by Jay™: Weight gaining?
Ok, over the last 2 months I've gone from 195 to 215 pounds. I was horrified to see the scale like that. How could this have happened?!?
I've been working out three times a week over the last 2 months, each workout consisting of about an hour and 15 minutes of weightlifting. I've been taking a Optimum protein shake (gives me 32 grams of protein) after every workout. All my pants fit fine (the ones I wore a belt around are still worn with a belt with the little thing in the exact same hole). I can admit that my stomach has been feeling a bit more flabby (not too much, more or less when I look in the mirror it looks a tiny bit smaller but it's really flubbery). What are the possible reasons that I gained so much goddamn weight?!?
I know that it's impossible to gain 20 pounds of muscle in 2 months (or is it possible??). I can say that my bench press has gone up a good 30 pounds and I'm squatting about 150% of what I was squatting the last time I was seriously working out, which was like summer of '07.
And I'm not sure if height contributes to a factor of whether I'm overweight or not, but I'm around 5'11 or 6'0, somewhere in between
Best answer:
With all of that protein, it's probably making you stronger, making your muscles bigger. AKA thats a good thing. Your not overweight so who cares!
