Question by Dry Bomber: What is a good work-out routine if I want MUSCLE MASS with adjustable dumbbells? Please help?
I have an adjustable dumbbell weight that ranges from 20-50 lbs. If I wanted muscle mass, what is a good work-out routine I could start doing every-other day. Please tell me exactly how many reps, how many sets, stuff like that.
**I am capable of doing 6-9 dumbbell curls with a 28 lbs dumbbell weight.
Also, I will be doing push ups to. (about 30)
& If you are going to mention other exercises, don't worry because I do those in gym class.
Best answer:
8-12 reps per set 3-4 set per exercise
but just doing curls and pushups isnt nearly enough
make a weekly routine, doing one group once a week, ex:
day1-chest
day2-core
day3-legs
day4-arms
ect...
do about 4-6 different exercises for ta muscle group
Do you have a weight bench? I suggest u get one if not. u can get real cheap used ones on craigslist.
but at the very least have some thing u can ly back on to do chest exercises with ur dumbbells. Even if its just a regular bench. ( the kind u sit on)
