is it normal to get a pain in the middle of your chest from pushing 2 heavy things together.. like i was on this excersize machine dont know what it was called but its when you sit and you use your arms / hand to push together 2 weight holder things.. but anyway when i was doing this i got a pain in the middle of my chest
after this i flexed me chest / shoulders.. i strained my shoulders down and pushed my shoulders inward / forward and it hurt.. it felt like pressure or something in the middle of my chest
it went away just after a couple seconds
but this pain worries me
what could this be ?
muscles or the bone ??
can my chest plate or something in the middle of my chest be broken ?
not there all the time.. it just feels kinda tight.. muscles ?
its like... when you force out all the air in your lungs .. or wen u push 2 heavy things together.. thats wen it hurts
Best answer:
You probably strained your muscles. The pectorals are your chest muscles so if your chest hurts that may be the reason. If you displaced a rib then you would still be in pain or at least some discomfort.

Stress And Weight Gain
Article by Edwardo Holder
What To Do To Relieve StressWhen chronic stress occurs, the adrenal glands release stress hormones in big quantities. Elevated stress hormones may lead to excess body fat in many ways. First, they are a potent signal to the brain to increase our appetites and cravings for pleasurable foods, or "comfort foods" such as sugar, fat, and alcohol. 2nd, these hormones act as a signal to our fat cells to hold onto as much fat and release as little stored fat as they can. Plus these hormones meddle with the hormone known as expansion hormone resulting in muscle loss and fat gain. Finally, sustained stress hormone elevation can lower thyroid function and that implies that your metabolism gets turned down. All of these effects can mix to cause our bodies to take in more calories and burn off less calories - so we gain weight - and we have a tendency to gain it particularly around our bellies [ which increases our risk for hypertension, diabetes and heart problems ]. Exaggerated levels of cortisol stress hormone could cause pound after pound of excess body fat to amass around your waist and stomach, a health-threatening, figure-destroying condition affecting an approximate 47 million Americans... mostly women. To decrease stress and stress related weight gain, you must learn how to learn how your stress levels. Exercise, use meditation or have a quiet place to retreat to when you are stressed. Eating a diet that is low in refined sugars or that have a low glycemic index helps decrease the stress of blood sugar fluctuations on our bodies. Eat meals at regular times every day [ it's best not to eat after 7pm ]. Drinking masses of quality water in the day also helps decrease the fatigue ordinarily seen around mid-day and early afternoon. What To Do To Relieve Stress
