ok so i wanna get my benchy up to 45's on flat bench press. As of right now im 35's. here my idea....
Monday chest

4th set 30 8 reps
5th set 25 to failure
then dumbell press
1st set 35 7 reps
2nd set 40 7 reps
3rd set 40 6 reps
4th set 35 9 reps
5th set 30 to failure
incline bench press
1st set 20 6 reps
2nd set 25 6 reps
3rd set 25 5 reps
4th set 20 9 reps
5th set 15 till failure
incline dumbell press
1st set 25 6 reps
2nd set 30 6 reps
3rd set 30 5-6 reps
4th set 25 8 reps
5th set 22.5 till failure
Im on No-xplode
not on a diet
but consuming enough protein.
Will this work ???

give it a shot. make sure when you reach a point to where you cant move up on weight anymore, you switch up your routine because that will shock the muscles and it will help grow more. try to do that workout about once every 5 days or so, you need to make sure you body rests those muscles...hope that helps

The more elaborate benches will be flat, but they also will sometimes have an adjustment so that one portion of your bench can be adjusted up or down while the other portion remains horizontal. This type of weight bench will have a different framework underneath so that there will be adequate support to the flat portion of a bench. The next step up in weight lifting equipment is a flat bench with the option to use the incline or decline feature. Multiple adjustments allow for working the abdominal muscles as well as the arms, chest and shoulders. Upper arms and forearms can be worked individually or as part of a more extensive muscle group.
The incline, decline and flat weight lifting bench with a dumbbell style is slightly different in the framework. The bench is narrower and the extra width is at the head of the bench rather than at the foot. Again, the stability is critical while the user is using small dumbbells. There is no danger of tipping, walking or sliding thanks to the wide stance and solid frame.
