this was a popular requested video I made to tell a little about fly fishing small rivers and streams. In just about 2 miles and 260 minutes, I caught and released 31 trout. I show some cool places, find some new ones. Spend the night in a bivy sac at rivers edge, assuring i'd be first man in the river. Turns out, I was only man in river. If your just beginning, i'd suggest a 5 wt. rod, basic click and prawl reel. weight forward floating fly line. forget the leeder for now, just go with 7 feet of mono as the leader, until you get good at casting. unlike bait fishing, you use only artaficials.
