Question by M: How do you measure body weight percentage lost like they do on The Biggest Loser?
I've lost some weight and I want to see what my percentage lost is. I started at 203 lbs which gave me a BMI of 36.0. I am down to 195 so a BMI of 34.6. What is the percentage lost, and how do you find that out?
Thank you!
No kidding, The Muse. I need a formula.
Best answer:
(195/203)/(x/100)= %
So in other words
(new weight divided by starting weight) then divide this # by 100 to get x or your % lost.
