Natural and Efficient Herbal Home Remedies for Leg Pain

There are many factors responsible for leg pain. Standing long periods, PMS, your periods, bad posture, pregnancy, walking long distances and exhaustion are the main causes of a leg pain. It can be acute or chronic and all people confront with it a point in their lives. Of course there are medicines that can help in curing leg pain but a person who often confront with this pain should prefer the natural remedies because these, unlike the medicines, have no side effects.
Home remedies come with great advantages: they are cheap and at handy, and they can provide great results without any side effect.
Water is an excellent remedy when it comes about leg pain. Warm some water at a bearable temperature and dip your feet in it. For better effects you can add some peppermint oil in the water.
Heat compressions can also relief your pain leg. Heat a brick, wrap it in a wash cloth and apply it on the painful leg. You will feel better in a short time.
While you are standing be sure that the weight of your body is evenly balanced on your feet. If the body weight is concentrated only on a single leg this will lead to leg ache later. It is recommended to wear proper and comfortable shoes. If you often suffer from leg pain it is recommended to wear flat shoes and to renounce at the high heels shoes.
Massage your feet with coconut or almond oil. Another great massage lotion can be prepared from camphor and mustard oil. Messaging your feet with this lotion you will be able to get rid of leg pain. For this lotion you need 200 gm mustard oil and 10 gm of camphor. Mix these two ingredients in a bottle and put the bottle in the sun until the camphor melts completely. Message your feet using this lotion or add it in the water and soak your feet in it.
Methi (fenugreek) is a very efficient herb that can be used successfully in treating leg pain, too. Let the fenugreek leaves to dry in the sun for 5-6 days and then mix them with a glass of water. Take this remedy at the first hours in the morning.
Epsom salt is rich in minerals and especially in magnesium and it has the medicinal capability to alleviate the leg pain. Put some Epsom salt in warm water and soak your leg in it for 15-20 minutes.
Prepare a paste from turmeric, salt and lime and apply it on the painful leg. You will feel relieved in a short time.
Licorice has proved to be a very efficient remedy for muscle aches. It provides a quick relief and if it is used on regular basis it can help you to get rid of leg pain permanently. Prepare an infusion from licorice roots. Put the roots in hot water cover it and let the infusion rest over the night. In the morning use the infusion to massage your feet.
