"How I went from walking with a cane to dancing with a hoop!" A video about my hooping journey, This is my story about overcoming morbid obesity and arthritis to become an older hula hooper, sharing the joy of hooping in the community. I recently brought my hoops to a charity event for Riley Children's Hospital, and we raised 0 for the hospital by having a hula hoop contest, which was in itself hilarious, seeing these old men trying to hoop. Thank goodness they were all good sports! Hooping is good for the mind, body, and spirit.
