Question by Big Lance!: IM a vet with herniated discs and on pain meds/percocets, im wondering if they make you gain weight? ?
im on pain meds for herniated discs in my back, and im wondering if they make you gain weight? ive gained lbs and it sucks! ive talked to my doctor and he says nope, they dont cause weight gain, on the other hand my family doctor says yes, they do! if they do make you gain weight then will it be difficult to lose it while exercising mildly while on the meds?

The percocet doesn't cause it the lack of activity does. Don't do anything your doctor doesn't recommend as far as exercise.
