It always feels like my dip belt is slipping off?

Question by Rahul: It always feels like my dip belt is slipping off?
I have a narrower waist than most people. I want to add weighted resistance to exercises like pullups and dips, but the dip belt from the gym always feels like it's slipping off. This makes the exercise very uncomfortable and more of my focus is on trying to keep the dip belt on than on the exercise itself. Is this a common problem? Should I worry about it slipping off or will it not slip off? Help!

Thanks.

Best answer:
You can purchase your own dip belt online. Look for one with your waist size (kind of like buying pants).

You can also purchase dip belts with shoulder harnesses. I've never personally used one, but they help people with bad backs and such so they must be effective.

Again, you have to buy your own. Gym equipment is very general and not very personal. Besides, with your own dip belt you don't have to worry about ringworm or other people hogging it the whole time.

Hope I helped.
