Question by Ziggler: How many calories do I need per day in order to gain weight? (More info inside)?
I'm 21, Male, 5'10", and weigh 120 lbs.
I know, its pathetic. I'm trying to gain weight, how many calories do I need?
I do no cardio, ever.
I don't want to over-eat and gain just fat, but I don't want to under-eat.
Best answer:
Eat as much as you can, but really focus on your protein intake. Try to consume one gram of protein per pound you weigh. So for you, eat at least 120 grams of protein daily.
Also, LIFT! Trust me. Focus on your bench press. If you can get stronger in your bench, then your whole upper body with increase. That was how I got bigger. I went from 140 to 195 in less than 3 years.
I would also get a Weight Gainer product at a GNC. That will really get you to pack on the calories.
Also, running does not necessarily get you skinnier, unless you do not eat enough, then your muscles will deplete. I would try running, especially you, who is really skinny, and you don't even run!
