Question by Renald Ewwing: How much to lift a day?
Disturbingly I'm strong for a girl, dunno what weird thing happened to do that. For this people ask me to move stuff for them, times when a friend gets their ankle sprained or something and I'll carry them, routinely carry my 50+ lb dog when we're hiking hazardous terrain, helping my boss with his car shop(I pull in cars(not with a truck, literally pull them on harness)if they shut down before reaching the shop)so I'm not very bad off but I need to gain muscle. I already eat what seems to be lean protein(vegetarian, like egg whites, beans, tofu)but I was curious how much I should lift a day?

Each weight should be 15-20 lbs, but I don't know how long or for how many times to use them...:| I wanted to lift more because it's so light but then people yell at me like something is wrong. ><

Best answer:
There shouldn't be anything wrong with you lifting more weight. If you can lift 50 lb easily then you need weights that are much heavier than 15 lb.
